Q: What does logging in provide?
A: If you are on this page then you have most likely tried to visit a page that has security turned on. However, logging in does not necessarily mean you will be granted access to the page in question.

Q: Does logging in let me modify, add, or delete anything?
A: No, logging in only let's the website know who you are in order to determine what you are allowed and not allowed to do. Any user can log in, but anly users with "rights" have the ability to view, modify, or add items. If you do not have rights, the only thing you will be allowed to do is change your password, update your profile, and request access to areas that allow you to request access.
